Estero is the closest town we serve, about five miles by road from our office on the Tamiami Trail. It became a village on December 31, 2014, borders Bonita Springs on the south, and has Florida Gulf Coast University at its northern edge and the Estero River running through its old center near the Koreshan State Historic Site.
Estero was built fast and built gated. The 2020 census counted 25,854 housing units here against 7,345 in 2000, and some 35 gated communities now sit inside the village limits.
